New Vicar for ASQ

The Cabinet Office has announced the appointment of Rev. Oliver Douglas Pennant as the new Vicar of All Saints Church Queensbury.  Rev. Pennant will have a dual role of Part-Time Vicar of All Saints Queensbury and a Mission Enabler for C of E Churches along the A5 Corridor.

ASQ went into in interregnum following the departure of Rev Kate our Vicar, who left All Saints' Queensbury for her new role in the Diocese  of Guildford.

We're collecting for our local Food Bank, and they really need our support, so if you can add a few items to your weekly shop we'd be happy to take delivery of them and pass them on.  We're in church on a Sunday morning for our 10am service.

It is with deep sadness that we learnt of the death of The Pontiff, Pope Francis at the age of 88.  He will be buried on Saturday 26th of April.  May God grant the departed Pope eternal rest.

PAMELA HOPPER’S FUNERAL AT ASQ

On 23rd of April 2025, Friends and Family gathered at All Saints Queensbury to say their farewell to Pamela Hopper, fondly called Pam, a long-standing member of the Church. Pam was respected and loved by the parishioners. She was aged 93. Pam was survived by her Son, Tony Hopper, his wife Sarah as well as Clare and Edward, her grandchildren

The ceremony was attended by more than 60 members of the community.

A reception followed in the Church Hall immediately after the service, to share memories of Pamela with her friends, family and members of the congregation.

Pam will be sadly missed. We pray that God grants her soul eternal rest.
