Our children and young people meet in the Hall on Sundays during the 10am service to enjoy Bible stories and craft projects, and to help us understand what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
At the moment we're busy preparing for one of the big services of the year, our Nativity service, which will be held at 4pm on Christmas Eve. We will tell the Christmas story again, and there will be carols and candles, and we're really looking forward to it.
We don't have a Little Saints meeting on the first Sunday of each month, because then we are all in the Church together to enjoy the All Age service, and we don't usually have a Little Saints meeting in August, because people are on holiday.
If you would like to try and see if you enjoy it, and are aged between 5 and 14, please just come along any Sunday morning, there will always be someone who can tell you where to go, and you'd be very welcome.
To support Christian Aid Week in May, our young people sold delicious handmade and decorated cakes and savouries after the 10am services, raising more than £200 for a really good cause. Well done Little Saints, you should all be very proud.
We all really enjoyed our most recent summer Holiday Club, Space Academy, for children aged 5 - 12. We found out loads about space, and also learned a lot about Daniel - there's so much more to his story than the lions' den! There were also lots of games, competitions, music and craft.
We did have some pretty scary lions too...
We were planning another Holiday Club for summer 2018, but unfortunately we didn't have enough people interested in attending to make it viable. We're still hoping to run one in the future; please do speak to Revd Kate if you're interested.
