Little Saints

Our children and young people meet in the Hall on Sundays during the 10am service to enjoy Bible stories and craft projects, and to help us understand what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

We don't have a Little Saints meeting on the first Sunday of each month, because then we are all in the Church together to enjoy the All Age service, and we don't usually have a Little Saints meeting in August, because people are on holiday.

If you would like to try and see if you enjoy being with us, and are aged between 5 and 14, please just come along any Sunday morning, there will always be someone who can tell you where to go, and you'd be very welcome.

To support Christian Aid Week in May, our young people sold delicious handmade and decorated cakes and savouries after the 10am services, raising more than £200 for a really good cause.  Well done Little Saints, you should all be very proud.

We always look forward to spending some time together, but we're particularly pleased to be able to gather again this year on the morning of Good Friday, one of the most precious and holy days in the church's calendar and in the life of Jesus, to reflect with all ages about Jesus' crucifixion, and what that means for us today.  There will be craft, teaching and prayer, and we'll meet from 11am to 1pm on Good Friday, 10th April.

We also really enjoyed our most recent summer Holiday Club, Space Academy, for children aged 5 - 12.  We found out loads about space, and also learned a lot about Daniel - there's so much more to his story than the lions' den!   There were also lots of games, competitions, music and craft.

The Lions' Den - wouldn't want to be Daniel! We did have some pretty scary lions too...

We're planning another Holiday Club for next summer, though perhaps targeted at an older age group, depending on demand.  Please do get in touch with Revd Kate if you're interested.
